Job Vacancies: International Trade Advisers
Based: North East based or willing to relocate to the region
Employment Basis: Full time with flexible working
Salary: Circa £38,000, depending on experience

Several exciting opportunities have arisen at the Department for International Trade (DIT) North East, who are looking to recruit International Trade Advisers (ITAs) to join their team.

Representing DIT, the roles will work with and support exporting businesses across the North East from different sectors within a given postcode geography. The primary focus of the ITA role is to identify companies with exporting potential, assess their propensity to export and help them with the activities needed to improve this. The ITA will provide added resource to companies to help increase their international competitiveness and provide the day-to-day support they need to help them export for the first time or enter new overseas markets. This could be technical advice or guidance of a more strategic nature.

These roles will also support and provide expert advice through the delivery of training and events, support complementary exporting campaigns, and work with other regional/national partners and stakeholders to grow the region’s overseas trade.
