The team at Elisian are launching a new eLogbook module to add to the suite of digital solutions aimed at the process industry and energy sectors.

eLogbook Contamination Management will be used to replace stand-alone spreadsheets, disparate systems and manual processes with a robust, auditable and automated way of managing contaminated items.

eLogbook Contamination Management will:

• Track contaminated items
• Plot the movement of items between containers
• Manage the movement of containers to 3rd party destinations
• Generate the appropriate documentation for shipping and item tracking
• Report item history for specific records or time frames

Initial application:

The first application of the solution will be in the upstream oil sector where items that are deemed to be contaminated will be captured in the eLogbook Contamination Management module and the levels of NORM (radioactivity) and/or Benzene and/or Mercury will be accurately audited and recorded.

Items are stored on location in a suitable container and if necessary, a sub-container before being moved to a 3rd container for shipping to a final destination. This can be for disposal or decontamination prior to repair and return. At each stage, extracts of data generated are required in the form of printable output relating to current inventories, shipping documentation and annual reporting.

The eLogbook Contamination Management module will provide an auditable, digital solution to support this process and automate the generation of the right data at the right time.
