During the COP 26 summit, Governments from across the world will assemble in Glasgow, Scotland to discuss the global challenges of climate change and the decarbonizationof our planet. They will be individually and collectively be committing to reducing CO2 emissions, in an attempt to reduce the impact of climate change. In June 2019, the UK became the first major country to legislate for a net-zero target for carbon emissions by 2050.
“Clean” energy generation, carbon capture, electrification andthe transition from fossil fuels to hydrogen are at the heart of the UK strategy to meet the 2050 net-zero target. Teesside through its long industrial heritage, is at the heart of hydrogen production in the UK, both today and going forward.
This Webinar will hear from 4 companies committed to large capital investment, innovation and supporting the development of Hydrogen as a clean fuel on Teesside.
Insights on the production of world scale Hydrogen Plants and how it supports decarbonisation will be shared at the Webinar from BP, BOC, Kellas Midstream and Johnson Matthey.
