Covid Testing in Redcar and Cleveland.

A testing scheme for people aged 18 and over will start on January 25 at Redcar Leisure Centre, Ridley Street, Redcar.

Testing is available between 8am-6.30pm, Monday-Friday.

The tests are aimed at key workers and people who cannot work from home. Only people without Covid-19 symptoms should attend.

Around one third of people with Covid-19 do not have symptoms and can pass the virus on to loved ones without knowing it.

The tests are quick and easy and results are generally available in around 30 minutes

Free parking is available in the Council-run car park in Kirkleatham Street for people being tested

The tests are for people who do not have Covid-19 symptoms. You must not attend if you have Covid-19 symptoms

Tests must be booked online. However, if you are unable to book a test a very limited number of walk in appointments will be available each day.
