She is dual qualified as a Scottish IP Solicitor and a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney and will be based in Edinburgh. Caroline will be looking to boost the firm’s trade mark presence in the region.
Caroline’s appointment follows another year of exceptional growth across Europe for the firm including the expansion of the Edinburgh office.
Caroline has worked in the region for over 8 years, building up a strong reputation for working with other professional services firms and gained experience across the tech and food & drink sectors.
Caroline has expertise working with clients at a strategic level, providing commercial advice to clients looking to develop their trade mark strategies. This also encompasses freedom to operate and opposition proceedings, as well as the filing and prosecution of trade marks.
Caroline graduated from the University of Glasgow with an LL.M. (Master of Laws: International Competition Law), LL.B. (Batchelor of Laws) and M.A. (SocSci) and is the current Convener of the Law Society of Scotland’s Intellectual Property Committee.
