Early stage digital or tech businesses in Tees Valley who have been trading for up to 18 months have until noon on May 1 to apply to the DigitalCity Accelerator Programme which will start at the end of May.
The Digital Accelerator provides a tailored package of mentoring, workshops and up to £5,000 grant funding to help businesses develop new products or build their digital proposition.
The virtual format will allow business owners to connect with each other, share ideas, learn how to overcome common challenges in tech businesses such as law, intellectual property, raising finance and managing growth.
A team of experienced mentors is on hand to give one-to-one guidance through seven weeks of the programme.
After completing a straightforward application, the final cohort will be decided through a selection process involving interviews on the 5-7 May before the induction on May 20.
The course then runs every Wednesday for seven weeks.
Scott Watson, digital cluster innovation manager said:
“In this time of uncertainty and challenge, the DigitalCity Accelerator Programme is a great opportunity for any business which wants to put the right plans in place to step up their growth in the months ahead.
“The combination of the insight we share in the workshops, the connections with experienced business mentors and the potential to secure funding to kick-start your growth plans will ensure every business can face the future with confidence and certainty about the direction of their business.”
