The free Covid Symptom Tracker app asks users for medical data.
These include age and information on any existing medical conditions.
It then asks them to report on their health for one minute a day. Specifically, it looks to see if the user has any symptoms of the disease.
The app is a collaboration between researchers at King’s College London and Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals.
It also involves the efforts of the health data company ZOE.
The team behind the app hope it will provide real-time information on the virus.
Take 1-minute to self-report daily, even if you are well.
