An increasing number of organisations, of all sizes and sectors, are placing a focus on Carbon Accounting, Carbon Management and Carbon Reporting.

The course provides an introduction to climate change, carbon footprinting (GHG Accounting), carbon management and energy management, carbon reporting and carbon reduction.

It presents an overview of different methodologies (e.g. the Greenhouse Gas Protocol) to identify, quantify and account and report GHG emissions and plan actions to reduce these.

The aim is to equip learners with the knowledge and skills to identify, quantify and report GHG emissions in their organisations (the carbon footprint) and plan action to reduce these emissions.
