The UK Government’s 2018 bioeconomy strategy has firmly established the need to use renewable biological resources to replace fossil resources for innovative products, processes and services in order to harness the power of bioscience.
This event is being delivered in partnership with Innovate UK and the Research England funded project; THYME: Teesside, Hull and York – Mobilising Bioeconomy Knowledge Exchange
This event will help innovative companies drive growth and draw real benefit from the strategy. It will provide the opportunity to build consortia and develop project ideas to respond to Innovate UK and THYME funding opportunities.
Delegates will also have the opportunity to tour Teesside University’s £22m National Horizons Centre, a major new facility to grow research, knowledge exchange and skills in the bioeconomy.
