News from our Washroom division – World Toilet Day takes place every year on 19th November.

It began in 2007, with it being recognised by the United Nations as an official day in 2013.

It has, of course, nothing to do with celebrating the chinaware we take for granted in our bathrooms and en-suites.

World Toilet Day was created to inspire people around the world to take action against the global sanitation crisis.

Its motto is “leaving no one behind” and its goal is to provide everyone with access to the most basic of needs – a hygienic and private place to go to the toilet; protecting and maintaining both personal health and dignity.

We thought World Toilet Day marked the perfect day to talk about a charity close to our hearts …………….
