The workshops will be delivered online from 28 September, with the exception of Mobile App Development which will take place across two-days, in person at Middlesbrough’s Boho Five, with digital specialists from the SME Centre of Excellence.
Other delivery partners include award-winning software developers, Sapere, who will equip business leaders and managers on setting up a successful e-commerce website, exploring off-the-shelf software solutions and simplifying systems integration.
Marketing guru Pascal Fintoni will share his unrivalled knowledge of digital and content marketing to help businesses get more results from their online activities, with a particular focus on content creation for websites, social media, and SEO. There is a also a session on understanding what digital customers really want by gathering useful customer intelligence and data.
“This year we are celebrating 30 years of the World Wide Web, that’s pretty incredible. Digital technologies will continue to play a critical part in our future success and survival, and we all have many questions about using the tools of the time to showcase our products and services and share our humanity, in particular as people are longing for meaningful connections.
“The Digital Essentials workshops hosted by DigitalCity and delivered by our regional champions are the perfect way to get practical answers and understand what the next steps are.”
Middlesbrough based SME, Sencode Cyber Security, will wrap-up the series with an informative session on tackling modern cyber security issues, including password best practices and how to identify threats to mitigate the risks that business owners face in an increasingly digital world.
“We want SMEs and start-up businesses in the Tees Valley to be aware that they don’t need to make large investments in new equipment to succeed digitally.
“These workshops will give them the opportunity to explore the benefits of digital technology including off-the-shelf solutions and find out how they can adopt and use digital tools, without needing to employ an IT expert or break the bank.”
To register your interest in the workshops or to discuss other support options that are available, visit the website here.
